
Profile has announced the appointment of Mark Rantall as a Non-Executive Director of its Board, further strengthening the company's governance capability and commitment to supporting the businesses through an evolving regulatory landscape.
Rantall brings more than four decades of experience across financial services, banking, accounting and professional associations. A Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he is widely recognised as one of Australia's most respected leaders in the financial advice profession.
His executive career includes leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Dean of Advice at NAB's Academy and Managing Director of Godfrey Pembroke. He has also held director positions across the NAB and MLC licensee network, providing extensive experience in advice business governance, risk management and regulatory oversight.
Since transitioning to a professional director career, Rantall has served as Chairman or a Director of several prominent advice, accounting and advisory businesses, including Count Financial, Link Advice, Total Financial Solutions, Unite Advisory and One Hood Sweeney. His governance experience spans business growth, strategic transformation, compliance oversight and organisational performance.
During his board career, Rantall has developed a strong reputation for guiding advice businesses through periods of regulatory change, governance transformation and growth. As Chairman of Count Financial, he helped oversee the transformation of Count Financial following its acquisition from CBA, including a return to profitability, adviser growth and enhanced client and adviser outcomes.
