Chris Tsiolis

Senior Financial Adviser

Chris commenced his career in the financial planning sector whilst he was undertaking his degree in Economics degree at the University of Sydney in 1998 and then becoming an authorised representative in 2000 at St George Bank.

Since then, he has practised as a Financial Advisor in range of accounting practices where he has developed strong knowledge in Self-Managed Superannuation and various entity structures. Chris has a proven track record providing advice to professionals, business owners and retirees.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and various Diplomas and Certificates in Financial Planning from Kaplan. He is also currently undertaking a Masters in Financial Planning at Kaplan.

Chris’s passion is to assist others make well informed choices by helping them consider the advantages and disadvantages of various strategies. Chris has a particular interest in Self-Managed Superannuation and broadly helping people plan for and transition to their retirement.

What is your coffee order?

Sparkling water – I stopped drinking coffee over 10 years ago as I practice mindfulness.

What is your favourite city and why?

The Gold Coast – it may not be as glamorous as a European city though the beaches are amazing and it’s only just 90 minutes away by flight.

What was your first job?

Unloading containers to pay for my university fees in the summer of 1993 – one of the hottest on record.

Tell us about any sports or hobbies you enjoy.

I have practiced an ancient form of ancient Buddhist self-defence on an off (not enough!) over the last 20 years.

What is your favourite movie and why?

A world film titled “Wild Tales” – it’s hilarious.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

We have been gifted with not only a mouth, but two ears as well.
